Fantastic! There is a lot of support available to you. You can find your local branch secretary here - they will want to meet you and support you as a rep. They can also add you to Whatsapp networks where you can find more support and solidarity with your peers: Districts and branches | National Education Union (neu.org.uk) Upcoming training is available here - remember you are entitled to paid time off for training! You can also let [email protected] know so that staff are able to support you too. What other rep roles are available? A team of reps makes for a stronger presence in workplace. There is no limit to the number of reps you can have, and all roles can be shared!
